Steven Borjigin, The Revival of 13th Century Legacy

Prince Steven Borjigin is the 36th generation of the direct descent line of Emperor Genghis Khan.

He worked tirelessly to promote cultural unity between Asia and Europe. Born in Tibet with paternal Mongolian and maternal Tibetan, he was raised in a bi-cultural environment. From a very early age, he learned about Buddhism. This gave him a rock-solid spiritual foundation.

In the 90s, he moved to the United States and later on became a proud American by naturalization. Steven immersed himself in American culture and traditions. As a strong Republican supporter, he also understands the struggles of the ordinary American people. Very well embedded in the American spirit, Steven values freedom deeply. This is also the essence of Buddhism; freedom of the soul is humankind’s highest aspiration. With such aspiration, Steven is always clear about his mission in life, that is to restore his family’s legacy and to better serve the humanity on a global level.

In 2019, he met the internationally acclaimed publicist Dr. Linjie Zanadu, and the work of restoring the family legacy then started. In 2020, Steven received the verdict of the Italian Supreme Court regarding his claim to the heritage of the Borjigin line. This is the first time in history that a European high judicial body has awarded a non-European a Royal title.  During the past two years, Steven has traveled to China, Serbia, Poland, Sweden, and Italy to promote awareness of the Borjigin culture. To share with the world that Genghis Khan is not a war monger but a peace ambassador that connected cultures, languages, and understandings. War was never his true aim but as a political means to unite people. He introduced the first time in the history, the law of gender equality and open access for non-feudal social mobilities. Khan has provided the first version of the fairness and justice in the world on an intercontinental scale. This is some 900 years before the founders of America.

Then, in August 2023, Prince Steven Jorchen Borjijin’s claim of the “Empire of Eurasia” was recognized by the European Patent agency in Alicante Spain. Restoring the unity between Europe and Asia provides the critical answer to world peace. These two cultures are essential for maintaining world peace as the cradles of human civilizations.

Steven also believes his work is instrumental in bridging the legal, cultural, and political systems of the different traditions.
